Ladies and gentlemen we are hurtling at breakneck speed into the beginning of summertime, winter is almost behind us as we move into spring and before you know it the sun will be shining and the beaches will be full. The question that you need to ask yourself is how will your body fare when it is time to strip down to your swimsuit and bask in the rays.
The timeline of most of us is that we put on weight over the summer, make a great effort to lose it in January, fail in February and put a little more on and then we never really get going again until summer hits and the shame of our body lands. Don’t let that be you this year, we have a couple of months to go and now is the best time to start getting in shape, and here is how.
Healthy Diet
There is no mad rush to lose weight for the summer so that means no crash dieting no weird, faddy, cabbage soup diets to slim down ahead of your vacation. Oh no, this year we are going to be planned and meticulous with our weight loss. Keep your diet simple and you will see the pounds fall off, cut out the sugar, slow down the carbs, eradicate the fatty foods. Once you have cut out the junk it is time to start replacing it with fresh and healthy meals, white meat, lots of fish, fruit and veg aplenty and lots of beautiful H2O, keep it simple and you will see that come summer, you are looking amazing.
Liposuction
It sounds extreme but lipo is a great way for you to lose fat from the areas where it is hard to shift and a little liposuction could be a great way to kick start your new body. Exercise
Now is a great time to exercise, firstly because you have the time before summer to start off small and gradually build up your workouts. Secondly because the weather is good enough right now for you to get out on a walk, a bike ride, a run or even to play your favorite sports. The way I see is that you have 3 to 4 months to get your body in tip top condition and if you start now then you can do this process gradually and without having to break your neck to get that hot summer body.
A quick tip to give you inspiration is to buy some clothes that are a little small which you want to wear this summer and use them as your inspiration, do this and you will be fitting into them just in time for summer!
