Work can get overwhelming, even doing something that you love (whether that be at a company like OTW Safety, a school, or even a veterinarian clinic). That’s why every now and then people need to take breaks to recharge their brains and have a little fun—and what’s more fun than going to Universal Studios? This theme park is one of the best in the world, with rides that feature the greatest movies and shows around.
If you’re thinking about a visit, here are five rides you can’t afford to skip.
Revenge of the Mummy
Prepare for a fright on this indoor coaster. With dark corridors full of flesh-eating beetles, rooms that burst into flames, and a pharaoh that would love nothing more than to steal your soul for himself, this ride isn’t for the faint of heart—but boy is it fun.
Jurassic World VelociCoaster
With the release of the latest Jurassic World movie, fans are likely clamoring to hop aboard the VelociCoaster for the fastest ride in the park. With a max speed of 70 mph, the VelociCoaster is a thrill during the day, and an experience at night when the coaster and track light up and become a beautiful blur.
Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts
Harry Potter fans will have an absolute blast on this wizarding ride. With one of the best waiting ques in the park, you’ll see Gringotts in all its glory; goblins, vaults, and an immaculate chandelier. Then you get to the ride itself and you’re met with a hybrid ride of part on-rails track and part 3D technology which works to immerse you in the wizarding world—just keep an eye out for Deatheaters.
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
Help the web-swinging hero save New York from some of his most infamous villains on this immersive adventure. By incorporating 3D technology and motions, you’ll feel like you’re really swinging through the city with Spidey, as well as dodging explosions, getting squirted with water, and even being electrocuted while you try to escape.
Jurassic Park River Adventure
Looking to cool off on a hot summer day? The Jurassic Park River Adventure is the perfect way to do just that. You’ll start off the ride by enjoying a leisurely float along a beautiful river where you can observe tall herbivores, but as it continues, you’ll come face to face with some of the worst predators of the Jurassic period, which ends with a 75-foot plunge down a waterfall to escape a vicious T-Rex.
Well Worth the Visit
These are some of the best rides that Universal Studios has to offer, and if you plan on making a visit to the park, you owe it to yourself to give them a shot. With plenty of coasters, water rides, and 3D experiences to enjoy, there’s no doubt you’ll have the time of your life.
