Lead Renovator Certification
EPA Lead Renovator Certification Course:
The new EPA Criteria for Lead Renovator Certification will be in effect nationwide April 22, 2010. Any renovator offering or conducting renovation services in pre-1978 property will need to have one person per crew complete this training. This course will train renovation, repair, and painting contractors how to work safely in housing with lead-based paint and comply with the new EPA/HUD Guidelines. Topics covered: background of lead, health effects, regulations, lead safe work practices, cleaning verification, cleanup & disposal. Cost for this course is $325.
